The 29 Days of 50

Today, I turned 50, surely something I’ve dreaded, probably for most of my life. But, yet, it’s here. It snuck up and bit me, and while I’d rather be anywhere than here (at the gates to my ‘senior’ years), the bite was made much less painful by an entire month of birthday greetings, jokes, and gifts. To you, my family and friends, I thank you and dedicate the 29 Days of 50.

On the first day of 50, Kim and the Dykstras gave to me

a card and a gift certificate from Eddies!

On the second day of 50, Keith and Taryn gave to me

a sweet card acknowledging that I’m only 30.  (Thanks!)

On the 8th day of 50, Peggy Edwards gave to me

a getting better, not older, (don’t I wish!) wish for a Happy 50.

a happy smile cuz they said that I’m sweet naturally.

On the 19th day of 50, Jo and Marty gave to me

Tons of wishes for a very happy birthday.

Thank you, everyone.

I love you all! ♥

You say it so well!!!!! You will find that 50 is 40 with WAY MORE experience and knowledge to fight off the dragons!!! And less people living in the castle!

Jo
